In-factory CNC lathe equipment :
CNC lathe use: processing into round workpieces
The operating principle of a lathe is to fix the workpiece on the spindle and rotate it at high or low speed, and then use the tool to perform cutting and other processing. Therefore, lathes are mostly used in production processes that require circle-based processes.
Common processing projects include internal and external cylindrical processing, drilling, threading, cutting grooves, end face processing, cylindrical turning, center hole drilling, turning holes, reaming, cone turning, forming surface turning, and other processing procedures.
In-factory CNC milling machine equipment :
CNC milling machine use: processing various forms of workpieces
Milling machines, like lathes, are mostly used for metal processing. But the difference is that the milling machine uses the tool rotation to perform cutting, and the workpiece is fixed on the work platform. During operation, the milling machine will move the work platform up, down, left and right in the plane (X-Y), and after reaching the target position, it will mill up and down vertically (Z) with the tool head. Milling machines can not only perform cutting by changing the shape of the blade, but can also process various parts in 2D or 3D using fourth-axis rotation, angle, etc. Common various processing projects include drilling and tapping, plane milling, curved surface milling, groove milling and other processing procedures.
Three-axis milling machine: Generally, machine tools have three axes. Three-axis machining is performed by the linear feed axes X, Y, and Z. These three axes are the workpiece platform that can move left and right (axis 1) and forward and backward (axis 2). The spindle head ( 3 axis) is used for cutting workpieces.
Four-axis milling machine: Four-axis is a CNC indexing plate installed on a three-axis milling machine, so that it can form a four-axis processing machine with four axes operating at the same time based on the rotary axis.
